Implementation of the Asset Management Suite for the Frankfurt headquarters of Ziraat Bank International AG.
The Asset Management Suite system ("AMS") from Slovak software company Finamis s.r.o. has been delivered as part of the challenging but successful completion of the project to install core banking software at Ziraat Bank International AG. With the deployment of AMS, Finamis has acquired its first active client in the highly competitive German banking market.
As part of its modernization project, the bank was looking for software to manage securities that can reliably and automatically communicate with the newly installed core banking system. The decision resulted from the bank's strategic plans to extend the volume of trading in securities, as well as to extend the classes of traded assets. The decision to supplement the modern core banking system from Intertech with a solution from Finamis s.r.o. resulted from long-term and stable cooperation between the two solutions at a common customer – DenizBank AG in Austria.
Ziraat Bank AG will use the full AMS functionality – from support of Front Office processes through to Back Office activities (settlement, accounting, corporate actions). The bank will also use the system to manage Repo, Credit Default Swap and Credit Linked Notes products in addition to securities.
The AMS installation was carried out according to the agreed schedule, meaning Finamis confirmed its role as a reliable partner and competent system supplier meeting international requirements for the management of financial instruments.
